Sam Gloffke

Samantha Gloffke brings a deep care for people, process, and possibility to her role as Board President. With a background in operations and community care, she has a gift for listening closely, noticing what’s needed, and helping thoughtful solutions take shape. She is passionate about collaboratively building spaces rooted in imagination and relationship. Before stepping into her current role as Operations Director at Kite’s Nest, she spent years learning about operations management, people management, and creative direction while working in the food world; prior to that, she worked as a committed caretaker for young people, families, and elders.

Casey Harper

Casey Harper has had a lifelong passion for working with children and families. Before transitioning into technology, she spent years as a display artist and nanny, experiences that continue to shape her creative and child-centered approach. Casey is a certified postpartum doula through DONA and holds an AMI 0–3 Orientation Certificate, grounding her work in early childhood development and care. She enjoys sewing, reading, and learning.

Marie Miller

Marie Miller is the inspiration behind My Green Museum and helps guide its growth. After having her two children, she saw a need for more welcoming indoor spaces for families in Kingston. She is an MBA, CPA and business manager who supports nonprofits and small businesses, including the Middle Way School, Binnacle Books, Palestine Heirloom Seed Library and the Beacon Prison Books Project. She is also a member of Citizens Concerned About Plastic Pollution, a Beyond Plastics affiliate, and enjoys tending to her garden, both indoors and out.

Sonya Deltufo Eugene

Sonya Eugene brings a blend of creativity, strategy, and advocacy to the board. She leads development and operations at Current Affairs, focusing on fundraising, donor relationships, and organizational sustainability. With a background as a scenic painter and union steward, she is experienced in building strong, values-driven communities. As an immigrant and Russian speaker, she brings a global perspective to her work.

Susan Shaftan Perrin

Susan Shaftan Perrin brings a blend of financial expertise, creativity, and community leadership to the board. With decades of experience in nonprofit management, small business support, and the arts, she helps organizations build sustainable systems for growth. She is the director of Balanced Consulting, where she connects financial wellness inspiration, and the founder of and a teaching artist at UrthArts Center of Nature, Creativity & Spirit. Rooted in the Hudson Valley, she is passionate about supporting local organizations and nurturing community.

Zebi Williams

Zebi Williams brings a mix of community organizing, education, and creative practice to the board. She has been the Chief Program Director for Kite's Nest in Hudson, NY for 7 years and has created many community facing exhibits for kids by kids including a cardboard city, an institute of Data Art and a Bioimimicry Lab. She founded the Lil Ragamuffin Summer Camp in Jamaica at 18 and has since worked to empower young people as leaders and changemakers. Zebi is also a founding member of the Sista-2-Sista Youth Summit. Her work centers on inclusive learning, cultural knowledge, and creative expression.
